🌱 Reconnecting with nature, one workshop at a time.
Thrilled to be part of The Naturalist School's Citizen Naturalist Course in Bangalore! This MoEF&CC-recognised certification program is exactly what I needed to deepen my understanding of local ecosystems and biodiversity.
Over 6 weekends, I'm learning:
✅ Species identification across birds, insects, plants & fungi
✅ Ecological understanding & conservation practices
✅ Nature interpretation & storytelling skills
✅ How to contribute effectively to citizen science initiatives
The hands-on fieldwork and nature walks have been incredibly enriching, allowing me to connect theory with practice. One of the most valuable aspects is learning how good interpretation can establish meaningful connections between people and nature—and even prompt positive behavioral changes.
This course is empowering me to be a better advocate for our natural heritage and contribute more meaningfully to environmental stewardship in my community.
Grateful for this opportunity to learn from experienced naturalists and fellow nature enthusiasts! 🦋🌳
